Catherine Vanlalthahlui Ralte, a 3-year-and-5-month-old girl from Tachhip village, was previously in critical condition due to a hole in her heart.

Supported by donations from generous well-wishers, she traveled to Birla Hospital in Kolkata on May 23, 2026. Following a successful surgery on May 28, she and her mother returned safely to Mizoram in good health on June 13, 2026.
